ProTech® Super-Bond has a multitude of uses in the
dental laboratory or dental office.
Painting Super-Bond onto the denture prior to relining will assure you a tenacious bond
between the acrylic layers.
Acrylic teeth necks prepared with Super-Bond will not "pop-out" during
processing.
Now thanks to ProTech® Super-Bond, it is possible to coat plastic fillings, acrylic
veneers, jacket crowns and interproximal spaces of acrylic teeth with a high luster
coating.
Super-Bond is a "natural" for the repair of broken acrylic dentures. It
provides a strong bond that will withstand any normal pressure. Emergency repairs can be
made in a matter of only 25 minutes!
Super-Bond is easy to apply. Just one application is sufficient to produce either a
high luster on acrylic surfaces or a firm bond on broken acrylic dentures. When used as a
coating it dries in only five (5) to ten (10) minutes. If it should be desired to
accelerate the curing procedure, the denture may be placed in hot water, 120°F, for
approximately twenty (20) minutes.
Super-Bond is a time saver too. It produces a lustrous finish on areas difficult, or
practically impossible, to polish normally. Its surface is hard and durable and does not
cause a build up of excess material.
Use in the dental office and dental laboratory:
Coating acrylic fillings, veneers, jacket crowns.
Coating acrylic bridges - especially interproximal areas of teeth.
Coating acrylic teeth - either in partial or full dentures.
Relining dentures with hard or soft acrylic.
Coating acrylic denture with acrylic teeth where polishing is not practical on
interproximal and gingival areas.
Emergency repairing of broken dentures in twenty (20) minutes.

Instructions For Use
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:
Apply a thin coat with a camel’s hair brush. Make sure that all edges and surfaces
are clean. Apply as uniformly as possible. Tacky stage will pass in about five (5)
minutes. To speed up the drying process, place under a normal wattage bulb. One coat is
generally sufficient to achieve a high surface luster.
PACKING ACRYLIC TEETH:
Apply ProTech® Super-Bond to the necks of the teeth. Let dry for about five (5)
minutes. Pack the teeth into the denture base. The ProTech® Super-Bond will eliminate the
problem of teeth popping out from the denture during processing.
RELINING FULL DENTURES:
Apply ProTech® Super-Bond on the denture where the reline is to be placed. Bench set
for five (5) minutes. ProTech® Super-Bond will form an excellent bond between the denture
base and the relining acrylic. The denture can then be relined.
REPAIRS:
Clean all broken edges. Apply ProTech® Super-Bond and assemble broken denture. Place
denture on bench for a few minutes, then proceed as usual - pouring model, etc. The use of
wax and wires are completely eliminated.
EMERGENCY REPAIRS:
Apply ProTech® Super-Bond on cleaned broken parts. Assemble the denture. After five
(5) minutes, place the denture in warm water, 120°F to 125°F, for twenty (20) minutes.
ProTech® Super-Bond will form an excellent bond and enable the patient to wear the
denture temporarily.
WHEN USING SUBSTITUTES FOR TINFOIL OR CELLOPHANE:
Most foil or cellophane substitutes leave the palatal surface dull after processing.
Apply a thin coat of ProTech® Super-Bond on palatal surface to achieve a high luster. The
Super-Bond will dry in five (5) to ten (10) minutes after application.
FOR COSMETIC USE
Since acrylic bridges, jacket and pontics have a tendency to erode after being worn for
a period of time, mechanical polishing of such surfaces will tend to destroy the original
contours. ProTech® Super-Bond will restore such eroded surfaces as acrylic restorations
without destroying the fine details. ProTech® Super-Bond thus applied forms a molecular
union with the acrylic of the original restoration.
IMPORTANT
When using ProTech® Super-Bond, be sure all parts to be coated are completely free
from oil or wax. If ProTech® Super-Bond should thicken in the bottle, use ProTech®
Thinner to restore proper consistency. The thinner may also be used to clean the
application brush.
Keep bottles tightly closed and in a cool place!
